Because we are a specialty organization focused solely on musculoskeletal and orthopedic care, we have been able to develop protocols and efficiencies that improve quality and safety while containing costs.
The surgery costs, typically, vary from one procedure to the next. This is mainly because there are a lot of add-on expenses that are added to the medical bill.
DOC is committed to being fully transparent when it comes to the cost of treatment. We are committed to providing an estimated cost for your hospitalization .The final cost may or may not exceed the estimated cost given depending upon any additional treatment requirements as per your treating doctor. You will be fully informed of any additional cost beyond the estimated package, if any, by our financial counselor.
It is the responsibility of each patient to know what insurance coverage they have and understand how much they are required to pay. Ask your insurance company about co-pays, co-insurance, and deductibles. See if the hospitals are in-network or out-of-network/among panel for cashless benefit or not.
The more correct information you can provide when you request an estimated cost, the more accurate your estimate will be.
If you are covered by more than one insurance program, we will need information about both to coordinate your benefits.
Please contact your insurer to confirm the coverage of pre and post hospitalization rehabilitative services like home physiotherapy, rehabilitative equipments like crutches walker canes and toilet seat raise which you may require post surgery.

Paying for surgery costs might be quite the pain. This is especially difficult when you are not covered by insurance. And when there is some medical emergency in question, getting money quickly is of the essence.
Borrowing from Savings/Self pay
While borrowing from savings/Self pay is not ideal, sometimes this is the only option ahead of us during medical emergencies.
Loans against property/collaterals
This is another option while paying for surgery costs. You have the option to take a loan against your property and other collaterals thoughg the process is somewhat cumbersome.
Medical Crowdfunding
Medical crowdfunding involves raising funds through campaigns and donors. While this might look like a rather easy solution at first, the amount of money generated might not always be sufficient for the surgery costs. Besides, there is gross uncertainty about how much money a particular campaign can pull up.
Personal loans/Medical loans
MEDICAL LOAN is a kind of Personal loan and is the most convenient option for paying for medical costs incase in an emergency for paucity of funds. Since there is no collateral, this loan is unsecured and is mainly reliant on your income and credit score. This is a quick method of generating sufficient money. If the interest rate is decent, it is best to opt for this option. These kinds of loans can give you maximum flexibility. It’s simple to apply for a medical loan, and if you are approved, the money will be deposited in your account in one lump sum. Then it’s just a matter of making the regular monthly payments according to the rates and terms you’ve selected.
